In 1979, our Lord Jesus laid a burden on my heart for a Christian Child Care. Five Christians with the same burden prayed with me weekly regarding every detail, including our name, SonShine Child Care. We opened in 1980 with 22 children. God has blessed us with this spacious building that used to be the Manlius High School. Our mission is to love and care for children, and to provide them with a Christian atmosphere. My experience includes a two-year degree in Home Economics from SUNY at Delhi. I also have 24 years of day care experience loving children here at SonShine.
