SonShine is a Christian child care. We have Chapel for the children on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is a separate Children's Chapel with large animal paintings on the wall which is equipped for this. Debbie Mingolelli is our Children's Chaplain. The children call her "Mrs. M." She and Millie Skinner, Sonshine's founder, tell Bible stories using picture books and our flannel board. They also perform songs and occasional skits with our puppets. Mrs. M. leads the children in various children's songs, ( "Jesus Loves Me," "This Little Light," etc.). Mrs. M. and Millie often get bombarded by hugs and high fives as the children come and go.
Our day care center is one of the longest running centers in the area. We have been in child care ministry for over 24 years. If you would like to see our Children's Chapel or any of our other facilities, please call our Registrar, Shelli, at (315) 682-2895.
